I've been at the same weight (or fluctuating up a pound or two) for a little over a week.  I've been preparing myself mentally for a long drawn out stall.  But this morning the scale moved down again a pound and a half!  I hope the scale and/or my body aren't taunting me and that the weight will keep falling off this week!  Did the "dreaded 3 week stall" last only a week or so for any of you?  So much of what ive read indicates that it commonly lasts several weeks.

I was at a stall a week out from surgery for about 10 days.  I now think it was due to:
1. anesthesia
2. narcotic pain relievers
3. no roughage / fiber in my liquid / pureed diet
4. not getting enough fluids

Now things have begun to move again, both the scale and in the bathroom with some help from smooth move tea and mirlax!

I started the stall at 2.5 weeks. It lasted 2 weeks, the scale finally budged on Friday. I did however lose some inche(s) during the stall though so I wasn't too frustrated. Hang in there, I hope we are both finished with that first dreaded stall!
