Purged My Closet Again...NSV

I now have five garbage bags of clothes to go the consignment shop. There is nothing in my closet right now that I can't wear atleast for now:). I need a new winter coat but am waiting to buy one until I need it:). Kinda exciting!!! I still have two tubs of clothes waiting to be worn...won't be long now:). I haven't been this weight since 2008.

Yup, great minds think alike. I am off to clean out my make-up and jewelry drawer next. I need an excuse to buy some new fall colors. I am thinking Channel might have my number. My pre-teen daughter is begging me for whatever make-up I don't want any more. :) I remember asking the same of my mother. Of course she is only allowed to play with it, not wear it outside.

I don't have the makeup problem :). But I did bring home some new shirts, as I can now wear a 16.5 (down from 19). Luckily our thrift store of choice was having 50% off today and so in addtion to donating 50 items I was able to score 3 Ralph Lauren, 1 Lands End, 2 Izod and 1 Hilfiger dress shirt for Less than $50, couple of them new with tags!

Now I need to replace all my suits and sport coats - ugh. I got nothing right now but one sport coat that really doesn't fit, and a very heavy irish wool sport coat that does - but it needs to be 20 below zero before I can wear it!

I'm going to India in 30 days - may have a couple suits made there... the only problem is I'll still have 30 pounds to lose... problems problems :)

I loved playing in my Mother's make-up!!! I wasn't allowed out of the house either...lol
I probably be shopping at cosignment shops or Ross until I hit goal. Then I can't wait to buy things I know I will be able to wear for years to come. Wow! what a revelation!!!
