I have never been very good at practicing virtuousness.  (I did type "my virtues" first and then honesty dictated that I drop the possessive pronoun.)

Guillermo Alvarez will be sleevin' me on November 6th.  That's five days from now. 

Soon, right?

So why does it feel farther away than when I was saying "I am having this done next month"?

Because I have no. damned. patience.

I feel a bit like Charlie Brown when he bubbles "ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!".

There, I vented.  I feel better already.

Time flies when you're having fun but a watched heinie never loses an inch.

Sara, you made me giggle.  You are not having surgery next month, you are having it next week in the same month we are in.  But I get it, it seems far away probably because it is on your mind constantly and it should.  This is a big deal & it will change your life forever.  This is a great thing if you are ready for it & I believe you are.   I hope this weekend flies by for you.  Keep us posted.  Best of luck with everything.

I'm next Wednesday too!  I'm excited and nervous and TOTALLY antsy!  It's like can this not happen already?  When I think about it my stomach starts flipping out...it's like it knows....;-)  Glad I'm not the only one waiting this weekend!

Of course it will be here before you know it. I don't even have my 1st visit until 11/29. Feels like it will be an eternity!
