but, did anyone have transference pain to their left shoulder if they took too big of a sip?  That is me!  Every time I do, I get this crazy pain my shoulder.

I did not have it, but yes, it's possible.  It should go away in a few weeks. It just comes from the incision sites and as the nerves heal, you should be just fine.  Hang in there, there is nothing to be done but to just endure it.   Of course, as always, I should remind you that I am not a doctor and if you are really worried, you should check with your surgeon, but I have read about this same complaint many times before you posted about it and my doctor did mention once that this was a possibility in the short run.  So that's my best advice, take it for what it's worth. Take care and I hope it goes away soon.

5 days post op - probably gas.

Call your doc just to be safe.

I get a sharp pain in my left arm just below the shoulder. I get it anytime I push too far and end up in the restroom with the heeves.
