consultation Wednesday

I can't believe how quick I was scheduled. I called this morning and Wednesday is my consultation with the surgeon :) It has been like a roller coaster of emotions. I feel all excited then anxious then little scared. I'm so glad I have been reading the boards here. And my wls books n research research n more research. That's how I went from wanting the lap band (seemed the safest, nothing permanent) then learned about erosion n slipage k so scratch that. Then the rny, wow success seemed high but rerouting n malabsorption :/ but my ins didn't cover vsg. I met a gal through my dietitians, she went on about the vsg. So happy it has taken me since August to get approval BECAUSE MY INS. NOW COVERS IT :)) And yep did my homework. I will be getting sleeved soon! So freakin HAPPY. I'll know my date this week! Thats GREAT News,your ahead of me LOL I think I will have surgery in abt JUNEISH......Im mnth 2 wk 2 of my diet.....of 6 mnth diet.......

Congrats!!! I started in August too. I am having mine done Feb 25th. I also wanted Lapband but then read horror stories about revision and I don't want to have to do that. I stuck with getting the Sleeve becasue it seems the safest and good results.
