16 days, 7 hours and counting

Oooooohhhh. It's getting close. I have my pre admit appointment and start my liquid diet on Feb. 11th.

I got a call from my doctor's nurse advising me that she went ahead and scheduled me for an Upper GI. Never had one of those before. I understand I have to drink some nasty stuff then have some xrays. Yay...not. Someone at work told me the drink taste like Sunny D. If that's the case it will be no problem.

Not really a question I guess. Just putting my thoughts into words.

So, how is everyone doing today?

Congrats.  I had heard that the barium was nasty tasting, too, and wasn't looking forward to it.  It really isn't that bad at all  A nice suprise.

Hi,  the nurse told me that the liquid was awful and that she wanted me to be prepared and let me tell you that it was ugghh it tasted like an Orange drink with lots of soap in it. But other people though it was not that bad.

Good to know. I hear some are ok with it and some can't stand it. We'll see.
