Had my consultation today

Hi all,

I have been lurking for a good year or so.  Attended my first seminar a year ago...kicked around the WLS idea  for a long time. Attended three seminars this January and finally pulled the trigger and made the appointment.

My surgeon is a really nice guy.  He felt I was an excellent candidate  for the sleeve.  I have no co-morbidities but my BMI is 41.  My insurance company requires three months with him.  I left his office with scripts for bloodwork, nutritionist, gall bladder ultrasound and psych eval.  

OMG......it is all real now!

Good luck. I will be sleeved on 2/25 and I'm reading, taking notes, asking a lot of questions and sampling protein drinks.  

That is wonderful, and i am happy for you.  I am currently in month 4 of my 6 month pre-op program.  Some major changes coming soon for me and you and our surgeries will be soon.  Good luck with everything and the new you!!!  Eve
