Tomato soup?!

I wasn't.  Only broths and clear liquids.  Check with your dr office if in doubt.

That would be a "clear liquid" diet. Full liquids is pretty much anything you could drink through a straw.

I'm on full liquids and tried tomato soup the other day.  My tummy didn't like it, it kept gurgling and burping.  Maybe the soup was too acidic?

I was told to watch the carbs with tomato soup, but I am insulin dependent so perhaps it's different for me.

I was told to watch the carbs and sugar content in tomato soup. So one day I heated up a V8 juice and added some basil and green onions chopped. It was delish and low in carbs.
