Moving right along

This morning made my appointments for nutritionist, psych eval and abdomen ultra sound and waiting for me in the mailbox today was my letter of recommendation from my primary care physician for  bariatric surgery!!!  Initial blood work tomorrow morning.  I just ordered some Premier Protein shakes from Amazon at an amazing price.......it's becoming more and more real every day.

You are are moving right along and in the right direction!!!  Sounds like the planning is going well.  Keep us posted on your journey!!!

Its a wonderful feeling isn't it? 

It's wonderful and scary at the same time.......it took me a year to make the first appointment with the surgeon and then I jumped in with both feet!

We sound like we're right around the same timeframe...I'm hoping for a mid-March surgery date.  I go back to my surgeon next Thursday, and I'm supposed to get a tentative date then.  Good luck!!

My insurance requires 3 months with doctor so I am looking at a June date but my surgeon wants all the other visits done now.  I waited  so long to finally make the decision to have surgery.....I can wait a little longer.

I'm in about the same place as you. Two NUT appts done, one to go. Required surg class done! PCP recommendation appt done! just working on getting one more yr of med records! Going in for pre-op blood work tomorrow. Hoping for mid April date!
