Anyone else use them? My NUT actually recommended them. They are VERY high in Sugar Alcohols, 21gms so if you are sensitive to them I wouldn't recommend it. I don't have any issues with sugar alcohols though. They are only 1 active or NET carb because of them. 20gms protein and 195 calories. I was having an issue with keeping my stamina up through ballet class, it's harder than you think!, for the 75 minute class and was told to try eating one of these before class and this week I did great. The taste is awesome. I only use them once or twice a week before class. I get mine at BariatricChoice.com

I've looked at them a few times, but the carb counts are so high that I never tried them. Even though it's sugar alcohols, i try to count all carbs the same. But that's just me.

This was my protein-bar-of-choice prior to surgery.  I very seldom eat protein bars now, and since I discovered Quest bars I'll never eat another brand again.  My fave Quests--cinnamon bun and CC cookie dough.  They're both so good that I ration them very scarcely or I would fall off the wagon and land right on my head!

I've tried almost every flavor of Quest bars and I can not stomach them. They are grainy and make me feel like I'm eating sand. I've tried microwaving them too to no avail.

Moist cardboard. That's what I feel like I'm eating when I eat Quest Bars. mail

I count all carbs. Sugar alcohols, in particular, are somewhat absorbed. So you can't subtract them all and be accurate. How much you can subtract varies based on what particular sugar alcohol is in there. Which makes it all way too complicated for me so I just don't subtract them.

I wasn't impressed with them. But love the quest bars. I haven't tried anything else!

The first ingredient is soy protein, which of course, means that is the most protein source, with whey concentrate coming in 3rd.

I am very sensitive to sugar alcohols, they act in my body just like sugar, and the soy messes with hormones so they wouldn't fit in my plan.
