Anybody use TVP?

I bought a variety box of TVP from Mother Earth. I tried the Sloppy Joe today. It's pretty good. Really great product for Vegetarians or people that just prefer not to eat a lot of meat. Anyone here use it and have any really good recipes? It is Vegetable protein so carbs are higher than meat, but it still seems like a good alternative. Not to mention quick and easy.

I did sloppy joe and fat free ricotta topped with some taco blend cheese. Yum, for real!

That sounds good.  I'll be looking for vegetarian options after my sleeve, too.  I'm willing to eat more meat than I was, but I just can't stomach too much meat.  Meat every day is just more than I can handle.  I like fish, so that's going to be an option I'll probably go to a lot.

They have chicken, ham, and beef. Each one of those comes in different varieties. Each sample is 1/2 a cup and I only use 1/8 a cup at a time. So the sample box will last me a while. 4 servings in each bag at 12 bags is a lot of meals for us!

I use Yves Veggie Ground Round quite a lot. I can't eat most meats, so have accepted the reality that low carb isn't for me.

I buy the Boca crumbles sometimes. I am not a vegetarian, but I like meatless products.
