Dr. visit and follow up to the "Something's Wrong" post
So, I posted the other day that something was wrong. I was getting a pain in my left side under my ribs. I had an abdominal ultrasound today. Everything looks fine except some sludge in my gallbladder which wasn't that bad and my doctor said wouldn't be causing the pain. He did a swallow test to check for leaks, ot was clear and is chalking it up to scar tissue/"growing pains". He sent me for labs just in case to make sure no infections are hiding out. Basically just seems like I have a pain in my side and that's about it.
He was very pleased with my swallow test. He said my sleeve was beautiful and the best he's ever made (NSV? lol)! Yay me! He said it's textbook, meaning it looks exactly like it's supposed to. He looked like a proud daddy. He also said said I could move onto solid foods since I was doing so well and not having any problems getting anything down. Another yay! I still plan on taking it slow, but yay!
