Shortness of breath

I'm a week out and have extreme shortness of breath when I first wake up. Anyone else had this problem? There's some pain, but it dissipates quickly, so I'm not so worried about a clot....

I would just give your doctor a call and let them know about your systems.  Hopefully it is nothing but it is safer to check than to be sorry later. 

This does not sound like something normal.

If you are having shortness of breath without exertion you need to talk to your doctor NOW.  This is not normal.  There may be a benign reason for what is happening, but there are also some pretty significant bad things that can be happening.  Better to get an expert opinion.
