I also taught high school English (7 year break for kids) and just finished my MLIS, hoping to go back as a Teacher Librarian.  Congrats on your master's!  Hope things at work straighten out for you. :)

I was going to respond on my lunch break, but your pics wouldn't come up. WOW, you both look great!!! The dress story made me tear up a bit. What a victory.

On another note, I noticed you are going from a GED to a Master's Degree, me too. I also got a GED, and much later than you (I'm just a bit older than you are) went back to school and ended up earning my Master's Degree. That will be something you can share with your students if they get it in their mind to not finish high school. Your experience gives you "street cred."

So proud of you! Great job! I don't think I knew your husband was that big. I've never seen pics. Just heard progress!
