10 months and I finally hit the century mark!
It's been a long road and I am a slow loser so this mile stone is really awesome for my ego! I've had plenty of set backs and frustrated weigh ins but this journey has all been worth the ride. I feel amazing and I am in a size 10 now... never in a million years did I think this would happen. I've been over wt for 30 years all I can say to those still considering WLS is I only wish I'd done it when I was younger, like 20 yrs ago. I've wasted so much time and didn't do so many things I wanted to do all because I was too fat or too tired because I was fat. I have a new outlook on my life now and I am working up to be able to hike Koko Crater and Diamond Head with my grandkids this summer. Can't wait to be able to make those uphill hikes and not pass out. I have 36 lbs to goal and I planned to get there if it takes me another 10 months...Mahalo to all of my OH family for your support.
