Shouldn't have surprised me

Just read on the Graduates forum that Jennie Craig is owned by Nestlé.

It was purchased  by them a few years ago.  I used to be a weight loss consultant there. 

Ooh, tell us more! What do you guys say about the clients when we're not there?!

I wish I hd some juicy insider details for you! I loved all of my clients and the best part of my job was seeing them succeed.  What I did learn is that most people are in complete denial about their eating habits! 

Then some of the stuff that you read here probably doesn't phase you at all. LOL

I was thinking about things like sales quotas and policies that secretly sabotaged clients as well. I have always suspected those have to exist even if not on purpose because a place like WW or JC only makes money if people keep coming back. So it's not really in their best interest to have people be successful long term, just successful enough to be hooked on the process.

Weigh****chers was owned by the H. J. Heinz company for 22 years before it got sold to an investment group and then went public. It's all about the dollars!

I have been on opti fast for three weeks now and guess what?........they too are made by Nestlé Company!

Ha ha....that Nestlé sure is clever.... Keeping their customer thru thick and thin....
