3 month follow up tomorrow

I have had an interesting journey.
Surgery went well with little pain but lots of nausea. That ended day 4 and its been smooth sailing since. Maybe too smooth.
I have little or no restriction. I have found little that I cant eat.
I started at 262, was 250 at surgery and am at 209 today with a couple long stalls
Yes, I wait before and after eating when drinking.
Yes I take a PPI.
Yes I eat protein first and do pretty well getting in my protein.
I do eat some carbs as if I dont I dont lose weight. Since I added a few carbs back I have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks. Before it was 1 lbs a week.
I walk 2 miles, 5 days a week. Sometimes

So...my questions for the doctor:
Why little restriction? Bigger stomach left behind or just lucky(cursed)?
The site where my drain was still gets itchy and bleeds occasionally. Why? I went in once and was told it wasnt infected.

Where should my weight loss be at 6 months?
Am I missing anything
