Day 2 of preop diet

The first 3-4 days of the preop diet can be so, so difficult. Good for you for hanging in there!
FWIW, sugar-free popsicles and sugar-free strawberry Jello were preop diet savers for me. Another great motivator was that I really, really wanted to shrink and calm my liver by adhering to my preop diet to make things easier for my surgeon (and myself) when I was on the table in the OR.
I made a trip to the store today and got SF pudding, jello and Popsicles.
Today has been hard too. I made northern bean soup so I had those for dinner and a salad for a snack. I hope after the first 3-4 days it will get a little better.
I stopped and got my girls pizza today. I drank my protein shake and smelled the pizza. That was hard. But I did it.
