So I am on my pre-op diet. I have no energy! I feel like a slug. Is this normal?
2 protein shakes per day and 1 lowest/low calorie dinner.

yep, caloric deprivation will also cause sluggishness & exhaution... Vit B12 shots or pills help a bit but yeah, unless you want to up your calories, expect to be tired...

I felt like that for about 2 weeks after surgery too, even taking all of my vitamins. I feel fine now so just hang in there. It is so worth it!!

Normal. I have been on straight protein drinks for 4 months now (since surgery) due to not being able to keep mushies down. I get tired all the time and pass out once in a while, not really a big deal. I try to remember all my vit's but I forget sometimes. I think once we can eat we will feel better.
When I had my band in I had the same issues.

I think passing out one in a while is kind of a big deal.  I hope you have chatted with your doctor about this.

Usually the first several days are the hardest... common to have headaches and fatigue.  If it has been longer than 5 days then it may be worth a conversation with your NUT or perhaps even check your blood sugar levels.  Are you being careful to get in your fluids?

I stopped all caffiene a few weeks ago. The only change was I went to 2 shakes a day instead of 1. And eating much less for dinner. Between 600-800 calories per day.
