Many people have trouble with eggs, initially.  So go slowly.  You might have some other foods available in case the egg is a little too hard to digest.   Enjoy.

I am 2 weeks post op and was so excited about the egg and cottage cheese...clear liquids for 2 weeks was tough but it made me appreciate the new foods when I get to add them. I was never a big fan of tuna but it's one of my favorites now.  Suggestion on the egg, put a little skim milk in and it will soften it a bit for your tummy. I have had a very easy time post op...hope you can enjoy the same.

I can relate entirely...I was so happy to have a bite of scrambled egg...the suggestion to add a little skim milk before scrambling is a good one--that is what I did at first...I luckily have never had problems with eggs--or any dairy--post op

When I had my first scrambles egg, added shredded cheese and drop of milk and just verily cooked it so it was still "wet".  If it is at all overcooked or dry no way could I get it down.

Cook them soft. I like to mix in a Laughing Cow wedge. Go slow...you likely will only be able to eat half. Enjoy!

I also recommend Eggface's ricotta bake. Delicious!
