I see people saying broth is high in protein, but when I read the label it says 1 g per serving. What am I missing?
I'm on the full liquid phase.

I'm guessing they are referring to Unjury's protein broth. Check out the Unjury site and you'll see they have a chicken broth protein powder. Some people also put unflavored protein powder in regular broth. This is my opinion of that:devil

LOL!

I'm wondering about that too. I do buy (once in a while) the Swanson Chicken Broth that's 100% fat free - no msg - 33% less sodium and it only has 2g of protein it in. I wonder what kind others buy that has high protein in it unless that others mix in protein powder with there broth. I haven't seen broths that are high in protein in any store that I have gone to. I would like to know just like you Smcquithy about the broths.

Thanks. I was very confused about it. I have a sample pack of the unjury at home. I will have to try it to see.

I bought regular chicken broth too and realized I would need to add unflavored protein to it. So I also bout the unjury chicken broth that has protein

People put protein powder in the broth.  I add a scoop of Unjury unflavored protein powder  to cup of broth, making it high protein.

best wishes,

Carol

Carol, how does it taste to you?

I'll have to try that sometime.  I never did that in the early postop days because I had the Unjury Chicken Soup on hand relatively soon when I burned out on sweet stuff.

I cant handle unflavored protein. Not one bit. It makes me really sick. Ive laid in my hallway curled in a ball sweating and crying in pain. So, I just quit drinking the broth unless I planed to use it just for a liquid and not for added protein. :)
