Well just a few months ago I never would have thought I would ever wish for just a little extra padding on my bum. However this week my tail bone is begging for relief, It's sore & goes numb after just a few minutes of sitting. Not sure if this is an NSV or not! Lol

I've had it since three weeks post op and I am NO where near needing more padding.  I have to lean forward when I sit half the time to relieve the pressure.  I'm 45 and about 3 times in my life I have had issues with this   Lasts a few months then goes away.  Hope thats the case this time too.   Just lean alittle to the left or right or forward to relieve the pressure......it sucks I know.  Hope it goes away.

I'm hoping this is something that goes away as we get used to our new bodies!  I had a flight from Miami FL to Los Angeles, CA earlier this month, and it was BRUTAL!

I really feel for you!  Everytime I have some weight loss of about 3-5lbs rapidly, it hurts so bad.  It takes it a couple of days to reposition my fat deposits and then I am okay for a while then I will have a rapid loss over two days and it hurts again.  I have tried sitting on a pillow and it doesn't help.  Sometimes if I fold a pillow behind my back it makes me sit more forward and gives me a little relief but not much.

The pain we go through in the name of health!

It just gets worse.  It's ridiculous trying to find a slightly comfortable position.  Ab workouts that involve laying on my back require a thick matt so I don't end up with multiple bruises from my tailbone.  I'm hoping I eventually get used to it.  It is an NSV, but not a very pleasant one.

Tailbone pain eventually goes away.  I forget how long it lasted, but I haven't had it in a long time.

It was brutal though, I do remember it well.

Had the same problem as many here.  I fly a lot, often long-haul international flights and that's been the worst.  It is slowly getting better but airline seats still bring it on.

I found this to be a good, portable solution:

Therm-a-Rest Travel Cushion
