Anyone tried their protein bars? How about their pasta?

Chrissy - I've tried their bars.  They're pretty dense and I can usually only do half of one at a time.  But they are pretty high in carbs and I usually only resort to them in an emergency i.e. forgot my lunch at home (so I keep one in my desk drawer) or I'm on the road traveling and can't stop for a meal.

Hope that helps!

Most folks on here LOVE them.   However, please don't buy a box without trying one first.   There are a few of us on here that do not care for them at all.  I tried the brownie, the apple pie, and then gave up.

Protein bars are like protein powders - what one person loves, another hates.  I like the Quest bars, particularly the cookie dough and chocolate peanut butter.  Their pasta is shiritaki noodles.  You either like them or you don't.  But they're NOT pasta - just pasta-like.

Thanks everyone. I didn't realize we were talking tofu noodles here. They weird me out a bit so I'll probably skip those. Thanks for saving me $ from ordering samples!

Quest bars have the best nutrition profile out there, but they are probably best used as an 'emergency' food  during the weight loss phase.  I used them very sparingly because I was so conscious of keeping my carb and calorie counts low to get to maintenance.  Also, I didn't find they had the same amount of 'lasting power' as dense proteins, so I almost always chose meat or fish as my primary food/protein source throughout my weight loss phase.

I'm thinking of using bars for "on the go" supplements to my meat protein. Thanks for the advice.
