Hello all :) I can not remember if I have posted the link to my documentary that shows my sleeve journey. The short piece has the before, during, and a few after clips & I pray it gives someone hope that even if you are super morbidly obese-the sleeve can work wonders! I really feel like the sleeve was my miracle. Yesterday I accomplished something that has been on my bucket list for many, many years. I rode rides at the county fair! When I was about 11 years old, I was kicked off of a ride for being too fat. Everyone laughed & mooed & some even threw things at me as I walked in shame. I will never forget how ashamed & alone & so utterly disgusted I was at that moment. Yesterday,I cried so many happy tears. Now I don't have to watch life pass me by. I don't have to watch my love board a roller coaster as I wait on a bench jus****ching everyone do the things I so wished to do. I asked the ticket lady if she thought I could get on the rides, she said yes-of course you can get on the rides. I then asked one of the roadies if he thought I could get on the rides-and he looked at me oddly and said "why wouldn't you be able to get on hunny? yea you can get on." Like I was crazy for thinking that I was too heavy to get on. I guess I don't see what everyone else seems to see just yet. When I see me-I still see a very large person. But, I feel much better. Life is easier. Life is grand. I am actually living now. No regrets! Here is the link to my video:  *If the link doesn't work you can search it on youtube by entering brittany's OSG journey.

Your post touched my heart strings.  Hugs to that sweet little 11 year old, and good for you for taking care of her and doing this wonderful thing for the both of you.  I bet both she and you enjoyed those carnival rides to no end!  Take her out on many many more adventures and - have fun!  A long time coming and so well deserved!  Smiles your way!
