Still having pretty bad stomach spasms and cramping with po intake

I have a pretty bad stomach post op due to the additional discomfort I'm experiencing since day 1.  I told my surgeon but he didn't want to treat just yet.  Anyone else with these complaints?  I need relief!!!  It really is affecting how I feel about eating anything at times.  

 

Are you taking a PPI?  You can get them over the counter (prilosec, prevacid, etc.)  That might help. 

Actually I'm still taking protonix twice a day as I have for several years now for GERD and hiatal hernia. I just got my MD to phone in a new Rx for Levsin (anti-spasmodic. Hopefully this eases up the spasms/cramping.

I had them until week 4... It does get better, try a ppi it does help a bit!!

Thanks for the encouraging words, thank God there is hope for the hopeless . Your entry is very helpful, gives me some range so I can hold on with tolerance.
