Sabatoga!

So back in June, my BFF was sleeved and she met another lady who was getting sleeved the same day. We introduced her to a male friend of ours and they have been dating. Well, I saw her last night and she has only lost 10lbs since surgery!

She has been drinking her calories! Last night she consumed a whole bottle of wine by herself and a few more drinks through the night. She said she saw the surgeon last week and he was pissed at her for how she has not lost weight. Why would you go through all of this to not be successful!

Sounds like she has other issues...

I feel very sad for her. We cannot control what others do. How is her friend doing that got it done on the same day?

My BFF has lost about 75lbs so far. She is doing great!

I agree that she must have some other issues, like a drinking problem. Before surgery I'd be tipsy off a half a glass of wine. I cannot imagine and have intention of finding out what it do to me now. That amount of alcohol is a ton of calories, and that is only what you saw her consume in the evening. No wonder she hasn't lost much.

I also feel sorry for her, too. She clearly hasn't worked on any problems she has before she had surgery when she should have. She had this life changing surgery for no reason at all.

Transfer addictions - she either had a drink in problem before or has replaced food with booze. Either way, disaster

I believe she had the problem before the surgery. She wad drinking a week after surgery!
