December 6th!
Hello KrissyMisssy, My surgery date is Decemeber 3rd. Isn't it exciting? I know I am a flip flop of emotions. I have been trying to keep myself busy to not think about it or food. I have tried crocheting and reorganizing my office and then it clicked. duh, go to the gym and get on the treadmill. So that's how I passed some of my time today.

Even though I've been hoping and praying to get this news, it almost seems surreal! I mean, I'm as excited as it gets, but I feel like I should pinch myself- especially after seeing the photos of those people who had just had the surgery done a few months ago- that's going to be us soon! All these months of research and planning still hasn't quite prepared me for this feeling :)
To help prepare, I have been going back through all the posts on this forum to help ease my nerves. It doesn't help keep my excitement at bay too much because I keep seeing peoples progress and goal photos, but hopefully I won't run into anything that someone else on here hasn't experienced before :)
Exactly! I probably wouldn't have even been brave enough to move forward with the surgery if I hadn't been able to learn from everyone on here. You can read all the doctor websites and medical articles out there, but it's nothing compared to what you get from first-hand experiences. This site is the best for support and information, and soon we will be posting our experiences and goal photos :)
