For just after surgery, my staples were fat-free plain greek yogurt, sugar-free jello,  sugar-free fat-free pudding, unjury protein powder, chicken broth, fat free cream soups.

When I started solids,  I shifted to lots of fresh seafood - salmon, tilapia, sea scallops, and chicken, tuna salad, eggs and egg salad, cheeses, steamed veggies, lots of mashed cauliflower, roasted zucchini, cabbage, etc.

Best of luck,

Carol

I always have greek yogurt, diet green tea, packets of tuna, chicken breast, ground beef, ground turkey, frozen shrimp, string cheese, turkey pepperoni, and eggs.

Low fat mayonaise is important, too, so i can make tuna, chicken, and egg salad.
