VSG on 01/16/14

My surgery was on Thurs at 9 am. I was off pain meds after day 1 because they made me nauseous and the day of surgery when I got up to walk, I was dry heaving and that was pretty painful. Once I stayed on top of the nausea meds and got off the pain meds I did way better the next day and today. 2 nights in the hospital, I got home today and I'm surprised at how good I feel considering I just had surgery. Most importantly I'm SLEEVED and so excited. From pre-op diet on 01/09 until today I'm down 16.4 pounds...ecstastic at the progress and it's just begun!

Congrats on the success and glass you've got the vomiting under control. I'm sure that was so painful. My surgery was on Tuesday and you sounds more recovered than me! LOL

Congratulations, I hope mine goes as well as yours did. I get nausious from pain meds also. I think a lot of people do.
