This may be a dumb question so I am really sorry. I start solid foods Monday the said I could try pretty much anything but stick to more softer cooked foods  for a little while and nothing with seeds or nuts my question is are pickles considered a food with seeds?

I am on regular foods too ...... The ONLY thing that I have craved since my surgery is pickles, it is on my list of questions for my next surgeon appt to ask if they are ok or not to eat.

I didn't try pickles until 4 months post op.  I stuck mainly to protein.  But I have read many people on OH do eat pickles sooner.  Just remember protein first, try a small bite of pickle first, and see how you feel.

I chop pickles up really small into my tuna. I crave salt and crunch apparently :) I was able to have them three weeks post op but be cautious considering how little you can eat and how much protein you have to pack in :)

Pickles do have seeds in the middle but they are very soft and I don't think they would be a problem. Cut them up super small and try to avoid the skin- just stick to the mushy inner part. But if in double I would definitly as your NUT or surgeon!
