Surgery went well yesterday .   Walked 2x last night.    Pain is 3/4 out of 10 so far.    So far so good.   .   Stomach xrays should be done this morning too.   Nurses were great and I don't have a room mate. They told me if xrays look good I can go home today ...I said what ? No I want to stay to at least tomorrow lol.   I'm scared to go home after 24 hours yet !!!

I'm so glad your surgery went well.  I went home the next day, also, and it was much nicer to be in my own bed.  Best of luck with your recovery.

LOL - you're the first person I've met that wanted to stay in the hospital longer!  Every day will be a little bit better; make sure to nap frequently, and always have tha****er nearby.  Staying hydrated is the single most important thing you want to do over the next few days.

Congratulations!  Glad the pain isn't bad.  Now, just take it slow and feel your way along.  It's all good from here!

Glad surgery went well for you. I also was encouraged to leave the day after surgery but stayed one extra night, if you don't feel ready don't leave it was the best decision I could have made.n
