Good Afternoon to all. For those of you who are considering having WLS ( VSG ) My advice is to make sure that your surgeon belongs to a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by The American College of Surgeons, Bariatric Surgery Center Network, Accreditation Program.(BSCN) This way you are assured that your surgeon is qualified and experienced in doing Bariatric Surgery. For your own safety please take the time to research everything about your surgeon, staff, complications, deaths or complaints to the board of doctors. This is not to scare anyone from having surgery, but as a warning to the wise. Before going under the knife I did my homework and learned everything I could about my surgeon. I have to say he did an excellent job and I’m very happy with the results.
