Fun day and NSV
Today I went to the gym with my son. We both did the elliptical and weights. He was laughing about how I had to reduce the weight on all the machines after he used them. He challenged me to try the pull-up and dip assist machine, then cheered me on as I managed to do 10 dips and 5 pullups! So far in our competition I'm down 5 lbs, and he's down 4 lbs. Afterward, he decided he needed new sneakers. The shoe store had a BOGO 1/2 price sale, and he had an additional coupon so we both ended up getting new sneakers - the first GOOD pair of sneakers I've bought in I can't tell how many years. I also checked out the clearance racks and started trying on stuff - I've just got into size 14 recently, and I was wondering how much longer before I got down to a 12. Guess who walked out with a pair of size 12 jeans that fit perfectly, and only paid $7.50!
What a great day this has been so far! I hope everyone else is having a good time!
