Holy Moly...I just registered for a 5K!
At my highest weight of 447 pounds, the idea of walking further than from my couch to the fridge was utterly ridiculous.
Having now lost 250+ pounds....I just registered for my very first 5K Run/Walk. It is at an Exotic Feline Rescue Facility. It's a great cause, the scenery will be very unique, but the best part is.... I will be participating in it!! I still can't wrap my head around that idea --As a walker, this body is not runner material yet. I can't wait!
