Sweet snack

I have had a craving for something sweet- actually uncommon for me.  I tried to freeze a Greek yogurt, but that didn't work out well. Any suggestions? I do not go off plan, so if there is something I can have let me know!

I mix Greek nonfat yogurt with a scoop of protein powder and a little water, then pour into popsicle molds. Or I just have a protein drink if it's time for one :-P

I don't know if it's on your plan, but I'm a gum-chewer. I rather chew a piece of SF gum than  binge on crap. And fill up on water or beverage of choice!

Have you tried sugar free jello pudding? They also have sugar free lifesaver candy, the cherry is my favorite. Just be careful how many you eat they could cause diarrhea. One or two satisfies the craving for me.

Do you drink calories or not?  I do, a few.  I drink milk.  So I'll make a warm milk w/ sweetener and cinnamon and vanilla.  Only the calories from the milk and it's hot, sweet and satisfies any desire for sweet.

Good!  I'm glad it helped.  I go a step farther and buy Carbmaster milk...so it's only 60 cals and gives me 11 g protein!  If you can find it I recommend it.

I haven't had milk since pre op, but maybe I could try that. I sometimes chew gum, but worry about the carbs even when it is sugar free. When I froze yogurt, maybe I froze too much- gonna try that again, for sure. Now, the Lifesavers sound delicious... Do they make you carb crazy? I haven't added fruit to my diet, maybe will give that a try too.  Thanks guys!

Buy some red grapes, wash them off & dry them well.

Put some in a glad bag & freeze them. They are sweet & taste like an old fashioned slurpee from 7-11! 10 of them are the same calories as 1 piece of fruit.

The red grapes work better than the green. Don't know why.

Yummy!

Sugar free Popsicles I usually get the fudge ones which satisfy sweet and chocolate cravings and only 40 calories plus my children like them too. They come in regular fruit also ;)

Like MAChick, I mix protein powder into plain greek yogurt and freeze it in popsicle molds.  I'm particularly fond of Syntrax Fuzzy Navel.  Lovely peachy popsicles are a nice evening meal/sweet for me.
