Some more before and during pictures

Part of me wants to share my progress on Facebook but I'm just not ready to tell the FB world I had surgery. I tell anyone who asks, but no one on Facebook has noticed or asked about my weight loss. So here's a few progress pics from 6 months out! I posted an update yesterday about my experience so far but pictures sometimes speak the most. I shared one of our disneyland photos with my surgeon's office group and said something like thinning hair... but look at our smiles! I wear my hair up now about 99% of the time because of how much its thinned, but now that my double chin has decreased I look better with my hair up anyway!

When I was posting this, my sweet little 6 yr old son was looking at my pictures and asked me which side I liked better (of this first set) and I said the one on the right. He says, me too, because you're more tan. What a sweet little kid... never saw me as a fat gross person. I'm just mom. But more tan lol (its sunny here in Idaho in the spring, I don't tan on purpose)

Facebook has a private group I am in called bariatric friendly the private group. They have a public one as well. You can post all you want and only members can see it.

Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.
