Forum for VSG who are out more than 1.5 years?
There is the VSG maintenance group. Here it is : http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/VSGM
I like to post here, because I like the energy of the newbies and the people that are further out usually chime in when I have issues related to being further out. Also, I think that the newbies benefit from seeing some of the issues that come up later in the process.
I'd love for those things to be discussed here!

TrendWeight | Food Blog (sort of functional) | Journal (down for maintenance)
I am 17 months out and I also like this forum because I see newbie posts and veteran posts. I know in the beginning seeing the issues that the vets were having and/or their questions helped to concentrate on those areas from the very beginning instead of waiting until I was 1 year out and realizing I wish I had done something different. I don't always post but I think for me it is important for me to come out here every day or at least a few times a week because it keeps me accountable.
You should feel free to ask any questions on this forum, it is not just for newbies to post on. The newbies and vets alike would benefit from your questions, issues and/or knowledge.

You may have to tickle Diane for access. The daily weigh in and status check is the main activity, but there are other topics that come up from time to time, and it's the place to ask any of those "farther out" questions.
1st support group/seminar - 8/03 (has it been that long?)
Wife's DS - 5/05 w Dr. Robert Rabkin VSG on 5/9/11 by Dr. John Rabkin
Lots of VSG'ers who are at least as far out as you in the private group, R&R 3.0. It is a group who celebrate honesty and truth though, and so NOT for those with a nervous disposition or who do not want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly about long term maintenance. It is essentially an off topic forum and some threads are adult in nature. It's a very active group with over 160 members.
