Meltdown on the Scale - Oh My!!

Today, I weighed myself and burst into tears.  Not from despair or frustration.  But from the realization that I:  now weigh less than I did as a Sophomore in HS (34 years ago),  have less than 40 pounds to go to hit MY personal goal.  But most importantly, I weigh less than a nay-sayer Dr. (I no longer see..) said I would never be able to get down to because of my previous high SMO weight.

Staying the course, always on plan - 100% of the time.  The light at the end of the tunnel continues to get brighter!

As usual, you leave me emotional and without adequate words.  Your journey, your perseverance, your attitude--- they are my guiding light.  You are a walking example of what is possible...thank you for being who you are and for sharing this with us.

Elina,

Thank you.  I love who I am becoming.  I have always been okay with who I am (no matter the weight amount), but this person I am becoming....daily amazes me.  :)

You're doing amazing! I mean AMAZING!!! I hope you will see your nay-sayer doctor one last time...or he will see you.  A nice framed photo captioned, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" or something equally witty should suffice.  Glad you didn't listen to him.

Congratulations!
