Hair Loss and a New Hair Style!
I hit my half way point yesterday and celebrated with a new hair style. My hair loss is (hopefully) at its peak right now, so things are a bit thinner than I am used too. The long hair was just too heavy and exaggerated the thinning b/c you could see my scalp through the hair on top. I dyed it at home last week and got it cut last night.
I splurged and went to a real salon instead of my usual walk-in fast cut place b/c I wanted the stylist to be able to take the time to do the cut well and not be rushed. So worth it!
I told the stylist that I wanted to go as short as she felt worked with my face and I was thinking of above-the-shoulder length chunky bob. I told her about surgery and WL so she totally understood that I was going for a fresh start and a new style. I love it!

I love it. Its a great cut for you. Congratulations on the weight loss and the new style. It won't be long, and the hair will fill in again. Its so worth it to be healthier!
best wishes,

That cut looks really nice on you. Congrats on an awesome job with your weight loss. I'm also going through the hair loss thing right now and as pathetic as this may sound, I've been doing a lot of crying the past few weeks. My hair was also baby fine to begin with, but now it's thinning out so badly. I knew to expect this and was sure to take the biotin and have my protein, but it didn't matter. I also have other health issues as well and that has also caused some thinning so that didn't help the situation at all. I've been trying to figure out what kind of cut I should get and yours looks really cute style. Hopefully I'll be able to get something soon that will make the mess on top of my head look somewhat better.
Best of luck and health as you continue on your journey.
