awesome day (some updates)
I had an appointment with my oncologist, and she said that I do not need chemo, do not need radiation. I had my boobs removed on 6/20 due to invasive ductal carcinoma. So, i wont lose my hair, or get nuked daily...awesome news.
Today, I entered into onederland. Scale read 199.3. I am 4.5 months out, lost 81 lbs so far. Went from 2x shirts to L, 24w pants to 16w. Before the cancer, from 42dd to 38d. I have always been that one that thinks VSG wont work for me, somehow I will screw it up, or my body will just refuse to lose any more weight. I haven't been this weight since 1992. My blood pressure is normal, cholesterol normal, sugar levels normal and I stopped taking my arthritis meds since I got a lot of pressure off of my joints.
I have this site to thank for saving my life, without it and all the encouragement and information from everyone here, I would have never had the surgery.
Thanks and have a great day!!!
This is all WONDERFUL news. Especially the not needing chemo or radiation part. YAY.
