Right shoulder pain?

I've had this on and off for the last day or so. Anyone else get this?

I had my surgery on the 23rd so I am 5 days out and I have it some.  I am not sure what it is but it doen't seem to last long.

When was your surgery?  It's common post-op from the gas used in laparoscopy.  Walking will help.

Hm.  At a month out I'm not sure it would be due to the laparscopy gas.  But I'm not sure.  Might be worth asking your surgeon.  

do you still have your gallbladder? Referred pain from a bad gallbladder can hurt in the right shoulder,back Nd mid chest right between your breasts. 

I do still have my gallbladder. May be worth looking into!

I had my gallbladder removed about 7 weeks before I had my VSG done and boy did my right shoulder hurt FOR WEEKS! I lived with my heating pad. I normally carry tension in my neck, so that pain in combination with the shoulder was brutal. Oddly enough, I didn't get any shoulder pain after the VSG. As others have said, it is totally normal after surgery, but I'm not sure about 4+ weeks. Mine still bothered me a bit, but nothing to write home about.

I'm regretting not having my gallbladder removed when I had my sleeve done. If this is my gallbladder, I'll have to undergo another surgery. Ugh.
