100 Pounds Lost - and I am not looking for them.

Today I weighed in at 100 pounds down from my highest weight during pre-op.  I am 82 down from surgery 5 months ago.

I really feel like I have changed the course of my future, my children's future, and I have influenced my husband to finally take control of his future too (he's in his 6m process for RNY).

This is just an amazing experience and I am so glad I have a support network to help me get through.

My highest pregnancy weight was 373...I can't even fathom that I was walking around 125 pounds heavier while also growing a human that I am responsible for raising to be fit and healthy.  I'm glad I can set the right example for my kids while they are still young and can learn good habits to keep their own weight in control as they grow up.

Congratulations on losing 100 pounds!  That's fabulous!  And its wonderful that you are doing this while you are young and can enjoy your healthy and newfound energy with your kids.

Best wishes,
Carol

I love the "I'm not looking for them" bit.

When people ask me if I've lost weight, I say no, I got rid of it. Losing it implies I intend to find it again. :-)

Congratulations!

Awesome! Today I reached that goal and am super stoked. My surgery was last Wed. (30 th) and had lost a lot of weight pre-op. I was able to lose 22 lbs. post op so far. My family is also incorporating healthier changes all around.Keep up the Great work.

Not sure if this one's for me but I do fit the category. I am super dedicated to this working. I am 12 days post op with my staples still in and  walked 1.25 miles this morning. I try to do this 3 times a day and am feeling great.I'm off my diabetes meds and feel my blood pressure med stopping soon.I see you have reached that mark also Congrats!
