My shopping haul!

Went to the mall and never even made it out of JCPenney!  I've been planning this trip to buy new clothes at a non-thrift store.  Much as I enjoy finding bargains, I think I deserve to treat myself - plus, I had no idea what size I really was because lots of people wash clothes wrong and they shrink or stretch out, so what you get at thrift stores may not be the size you think they are.  (I have stuff in my closet ranging from S-XL, and they all fit.)

Started out by going out for new underthings yesterday, and had the lingerie saleslady size me - I'm now a 36C-36D!  And I bought some medium undies even though when I held them up they looked way too small to fit me.  Surprise, they fit!

My mall trip netted me a pair of size 8 Levi's, two pair of slacks for the office (an 8 and a 10), and 3 size small tops.  I had way too much fun in the dress section, trying on size 8 dresses!  There were some things that just weren't flattering - called attention to the flabby arms or the panni - but I just took them off and moved on instead of letting them upset me.  

Also, I noticed that I now wear smaller size rings and shoes.  I'll have to save up for some accessory shopping now!

Awesome! I went shopping this weekend too! New jeans, dresses and t-shirts!! I bought everything on sale since I didn’t want to spend a lot, but I think I did pretty good. I didn’t get too carried away since I know I’ll be even smaller in a few weeks.
