Happy Post-op Birthday to Me!

Hi everyone,

Yay, it's my birthday! I'm still home on leave and I have had a day with some real highs and lows. Highs: Beautiful walk in an arboretum as my birthday outing. Finding the next size down in my favorite exercise pants on eBay. Lows: Getting accidentally locked out of my house and getting dehydrated. Took hours to get back in thanks to the kindness of a neighbor. And my husband's out of town this week which is a low. I miss humans!

However, one real high is looking at how far I've come. I just turned 32 and I found a picture of myself on my 30th birthday. Unfortunately it's not a great "before" picture but you get the idea. I think it's at least a difference of 90-100lbs. 

And here I am at 311lbs, toasting my Birthday Cake Shake:

Happy birthday! You look great! Sorry you had some downs today :( but I just have to know, what is in your birthday cake shake? If its a real thing, I must know!

It's Syntrax Nectar Vanilla Bean Torte (the only vanilla protein powder I've ever liked!) with a few tablespoons of sugar free whipped cream. And sprinkles. :)

Oh and like all great ideas, I got the idea from Shelly.

I'm so proud... Weight's been coming off fast and furious since the pre-op diet and it's made a big difference in how I feel.
