NSV - 5K!
I completed my first 5K yesterday! It was a benefit run for the animal shelter I adopted my two awesome dogs from. Since dogs were permitted to participate as well, I brought along the overly energetic Milly and she really enjoyed it 
Now I'll admit I walked the majority of it. I only ran when there were cheering spectators to impress. But still, I have to start somewhere! Best of all, I wasn't the last one across the finish line. I did manage to finish in less than an hour. Afterwards my sister told me that the one and only 5K she did, her time was around 45 minutes so that will be my target for next time! Here's a photo of us (with my bulging pockets filled with dog treats and vet records - I think I'll get a fanny pack next year!)

That's terrific Milly! How cool that pets could participate. I did my first one in May and fast walked. Didn't come in first, but didn't come in last either lol.
