Excited to announce November 6th I'm headed to the loser's bench. Dr. Ryan Heider is great! Their office and staff are awesome. Did get some disappointing news on the scale. Apparently the scale I bought is way off. I am actually at the highest weight I have ever seen at 478. I know I must have been at least 10 lbs heavier since I began to log my own and change dietary habits. No need to be discouraged as I know I'm on the right path and I will be purchasing a new scale soon. I am certainly on cloud 9 knowing the ball is rolling.

I found evey few pounds I lost started helped me feel better and better. All the little things like getting out of bed, tying my shoes, getting to the top of the steps and realizing I'm not out of breath... big motivators for me. Fewer and farther between now, but still motivational. I am keeping a list of NSV's to look back on as a reminder.

Congratulations on your date..... and don't think of your weight situation as bad news... it's good news because if you didn't find out now how would you have felt later... it's now behind you ... time to move on and kick this weight thing in the butt!!! :-)

Congratulations on getting your date! Numbers are just numbers, what matters is that you've resolved to make a change! Just think that it will mean an even bigger accomplishment when you reach that goal weight! You have even more to be proud of! Can't wait to hear about your progress!

Don't freak out about the high number. I had "sticker shock" too, but it's what finally motivated me to have surgery. I'm down 180 pounds today from my highest weight. It can be done
