Gurgling starting back up? What's this all about?

anyone else have this?  I'm almost 6 months out and for past couple of weeks I feel and hear lots of rumbling going on. Anyone else have this also this far out?  

Are you taking a PPI such as Nexium or Prilosec?

My doc took me off of it at 3 months post op. 

I get gurgles every morning with my morning coffee.  I'm 9 yrs out - not a big deal

mine just started again also - at 6 months out!  I thought it was something I ate but I am eating very similarly every day.  So strange.  I'm on 20mg Omeprazole still so not sure if maybe I'm all of a sudden producing more acid.  I have my 6 month check up next week and I've got it on my list of questions!

Let me know what your doc says. I go on the first myself. He had taken me if PPI's so maybe I need to go back on. It's a constant gurgling. So annoying.

Yes.  My doc also had me take a PPI for three months after surgery.  But every morning I would walk up with a sour stomach that felt like it was churning.  He put me back on a PPI and it seemed to help.

I never had heartburn or problems with acid reflex before surgery.  He said that sometimes patients develop this problem after surgery who never had it before.  Lucky me.
