pleurisy

I'm having chest and back pain that the nurse from the weight loss center suggested might be pleurisy. I'm going to the doc soon but I was wondering if anyone else has had pleurisy since having surgery.

Not everything is related to surgery, sometimes it's just life.

A long time before, but not after.  I never knew I had it until I had a check up by the doc.  Hope things get resolved quickly

Thankfully the doc said it isn't pleurisy but just some really tight muscles that are causing a lot of pain.

I realize that, but when I've just had major surgery and have lost 55 lbs in less than 3 month, of course my first thought is when I feel pain it might be related to surgery or weight loss.  Thankfully I don't have pleurisy, just some very tight muscles in my back, neck, shoulder and chest that are making me feel like I'm having chest pains.
