Anthem Blue Cross -- Approval

Anyone out there with Anthem Blue Cross??  If so, how long did insurance approval take for you??  Just curious.  Thanks!

I have ABC and it only took about 1 week to get approved. I had no problems with my insurance. Good luck.

It took me a 7 days and that was only because the nurse at the insurance company did not see the clinicals from the Dr. attached to the case.  I called them everyday!  Call them and they can tell you the status.  Im glad I did or it would still be sitting in pending status.  Did the inusrance pay for your nutritional visits? 

I'm giving them until Friday before I call.  They did pay for all my Nutritionist visits.  I did things a bit backwards.  Went to my PCP and she referred me to my Nut.  I saw her for 3 months before I even saw the surgeon.  Then I did all my classes and the psych visit.  The only thing ABC didn't pay for was the $200 my Nut charges for 5 years of visits.  As many as I want/need.  I'm TOTALLY ready for this surgery!!
