There are two onion type recipes that we use for decadent type meals-and they are both decadent. If you like onions (and we LOVE them) these are both amazing. The first is the one we are using Christmas day-my niece's husband loves them and I will do pretty much anything for him, because he's just a all-around good guy.

Thanks!  We make a french onion casserole for Christmas every year.  I love onion dishes.  They can be so overlooked as a leading player, you know?  They're normally just a support ingredient.

I bought a "boxed" Christmas dinner from a local grocery store. Everything is alreadycooked, just have to bring it to my folks' house and warm it up. It has ham, dressing, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole. My mom is making peach cobbler and a pumpkin pie. Of this, I will have ham, green bean casserole, and probably later on a couple spoons of peach cobbler.

I hope you all have very happy holidays.

Ham, Green bean casserole, Italian Sausage Apple Stuffing, Cauliflower mash and all the baked goods my mother sent to my house which get to ignore :).

I think someone on here gave a link to the stuffing for thanksgiving and it was a such a huge hit with my family it was requested again for Christmas.

Me too!  Initially we made them since my brother married a vegan.  She's no longer in the picture, but the mushrooms are! ;)

That reminds me of earlier tonight and we were shopping for a coat for my daughter.  There was a fake leather coat and it was labeled "Vegan Leather".  I about died laughing.
